August 31st is Random Act of Kindness Day!

This is a proclaimed holiday in Washington County created in honor of suicide and depression awareness.

We are encouraging every citizen to do some sort of random act of kindness on this day, whether it be something small such as carrying someone’s groceries for them or paying for someone’s food in the drive-thru. Please keep in mind our current health issues and stay safe while encouraging others!

Be creative and let’s come together as a community! You may never know if this one act of kindness prevented someone from making a choice that they cannot take back. Please join us in a random act of kindness on August 31st!

This day is marked in memory of everyone our community has lost to this terrible disease!

Any questions, please call Lela Thompson at 573-854-3456.
