Veterans Day Assembly Mon., Nov. 11th in P.H.S. Gym

Potosi High School will be holding their annual Veterans Day Assembly in the High School Gymnasium on Mon., November 11th at 9:30 A.M. This special ceremony of recognition is presented by P.H.S. and J.E.M.S. Student Councils. All Veterans are invited to attend. There will be bagels, donuts, fruit and coffee in the P.H.S. Library at 9 A.M.

Special music will be presented by P.H.S. Marching Band and P.H.S. Concert Choir. A PowerPoint presentation will be presented honoring our local veterans. If you know a Veteran who would like to be included, please follow the steps below:

Email a picture to brousan@potosir3.org (high school), cmaxwell@potosir3.org (middle school.)

Include your relationship to the Veteran, their name, dates of service, military branch and any other important information.

Veterans do NOT have to be included in the PowerPoint to attend the assembly.

Pictures are due by Wed., November 6th, please.

Everyone is invited and urged to attend this assembly (as it is open to the public), to honor those who have served and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service.

Kingston Will Honor America’s Heroes At 17th Annual Veteran’s Day Assembly

Kingston K-14 School District will honor America’s Heroes at the 17th Annual Veteran’s Day Assembly, Monday, November 11th at 9:45 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.  This year’s honored guest will Clinton Holmes, U.S. Navy Veteran.  The Kingston High School Band and the Kingston High School Concert Choir will be the featured performers during the ceremony.

The District is inviting all Veterans from every branch of the service to attend and be honored as part of this annual ceremony.  This is a free Kingston Community Event.  The public is cordially invited to attend.

Breakfast for veterans and their family members will be served at 8:30 a.m. in the main building cafeteria.  Veterans will be individually seated in the gymnasium by an attending Kingston High School Senior.  Students from grades 6-12 (only) will be in the audience.  Younger students are welcome to have breakfast with family members from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Kingston K-14 is pleased to hold this annual ceremony and breakfast to honor area Veterans for their service.
