The Jerry West Memorial Fund is holding a ‘year long’ fund raiser that offers 12 guns over 12 months. The drawing begins in October of 2020 and doesn’t end until September of 2021.

The prizes, actually a combination of rifles, shotguns, pistols and a crossbow, will be drawn for a lucky winner each month on the third Thursday of the month.

The drawing ticket is a $50 donation and stays in to potentially win all 12 prizes! The first drawing is October 15th, 2020 at Boyer Lumber Company and will be for a Ruger American  with a Vortex Crossfire II Scope. The drawing has been limited to only 400 donation drawing tickets and will be sold until gone.

The prizes include the Ruger American rifle in October; a Thompson Center Arms rifle in November; a Traditions Pursuit G4 Ultralight in December; a Ruger .22 Convertible pistol in January; a Tristar Trinity 12 gauge over/under in February; a Winchester Super X Long Beard 12 gauge in March; a Weatherby Element 12 Gauge in April; a Ruger 10/22 USA Shooting rifle in May; a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 Compact 2.0 in June; a Taylors & Co. .357 Pistol in July; a Browning 1911-22 .22 Pistol in August; and a Wicked Ridge Invader 400 Crossbow in September.

Drawing tickets are available from Jerry West Board Members Jon Boyer, Chris West, Dave DeGonia, John Moore, Don Thompson and Zach Jacobsen along with tickets available at “The I-J” office on High Street.

The quicker supporters get their tickets the more opportunities to win as the drawings start next month.

The Jerry West Memorial Fund has had great support since be established after Jerry’s passing. The Fund has helped numerous clubs, organizations and individuals in the area.

The Board expresses their appreciation for all the support. Everyone misses Jerry and the ‘fund’ is an opportunity to continue some of the good works that he did for all.

The golf tournament has been the main fund raising event for Jerry’s Fund and this drawing will give even more of an opportunity to help the community financially.

Drawings are to be held at 12 noon on the third Thursday of each month with October’s to be held at Boyer’s.

The drawing is open to those legally eligible and by claiming a prize, the winner is responsible for all legal requirements such as registration, etc. The Fund and its representatives accept no liability except the purchase price of the prize.
