The Washington County Health Department recently celebrated the retirement of Sandy Hutchings, RN.  Although she is retiring as of May 31, 2019, she will continue to work part-time as needed.

Nurse Sandy started in April 1993 as a Community Health Nurse. Over the years, she has served in such programs as home health, immunizations, women’s health, communicable disease prevention, emergency response, health education and WIC.

Since 2003, Nurse Sandy has served as the Public Health Nurse Supervisor overseeing clinic operations and other health services. She has devoted her career to the mission of public health in Washington County and her work has made a difference. Undeniably, she has been a blessing to many.

The Washington County Health Department’s Board of Trustees, administration, and staff honored Nurse Sandy with a dinner party and gifts. Nurse Sandy is pictured with her family who attended her party.
