The Cross Country season ended on a high note with four Running Trojans qualifying for the State Meet in Columbia  and two earning All- State honors.

In the Class 3 MO Race Senior Kayley Heeter finished 13th in a career best time of 19:26. Kayley was followed by Freshman Celeste Sansegraw who placed 23rd also running a career best time of 19:42. Junior Cierra Lewis finished 66th also running a personal best time of 20:43. The top 25 in the race earn All-State honors and Kayley 13th and Celeste 23rd both received that honor along with a state medal.

Representing the Boys in the Class 3 race was Senior Brett Lynch. Brett finished 55th with a time of 17:15 and fought to the end, never giving up.

It was a fantastic season for all the Running Trojans! The future is bright with only two graduating Seniors and a strong group of underclassmen. Thank you to all the parents for your support. Off season winter training is up next with track season just around the corner.  (Submitted Photos)
