Dorothy Ann Burr, 83 of Hillsboro, died July, 1, 2019 at the Villas in De Soto. Mrs. Burr was a cook with the Hillsboro School District. She was a member of the De Soto Elks Ladies Auxillary and loved dancing, playing computer games, reading and traveling with friends and family. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima church and a former member of Good Shepherd in Hillsboro.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane (Bill) Ingrum of Cadet; sisters, Elaine Baldridge of Potosi, Rose Marie Morris of De Soto, Carolyn Baugus of De Soto; brothers Charles (Ann) Pratt of Potosi and Sylvester “Pill” (Verna) Pratt of Crystal City; sister - in – law, Ethel Pratt of De Soto; grandchild, Bill (Stacy) Ingrum, Jr. of Cedar Hill, and great-grandchildren, Mallory, Cheyenne and Will. Born May 14, 1936 in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Henry Pratt and Lucille (Politte) Pratt. She was preceded in death by her husband; the late Ronald E. “Red” Burr. 

A funeral visitation was held at Mahn Funeral Home, De Soto on Friday July 5th from 5-8pm. Funeral Service were held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday, July 6th at 10 a.m. officiated by Father Anderson. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home, De Soto.
