MAAA Conference Basketball Tournament Began Sat., Feb. 3rd

Girls- Potosi vs. Valley of Caledonia, Saturday, February 3rd at 10 A.M. at Potosi High School and Kingston will play Valle Catholic Saturday, February 3rd at 2:30 P.M. at Potosi High School.

The Potosi Lady Trojans started close with the Valley Viking Ladies and were just one point ahead at half time, 19-18. The Trojans pulled away in the second half and won 57-43. The Lady Trojans advance and face the Central Rebels at MAC on Monday, Feb. 5th at 4 p.m.

The Valley Lady Vikings will face Bismarck in the next round of the consolation bracket on Wed., Feb. 7th at 4 p.m. at the Mineral Area College arena.

Boys- Valley of Caledonia vs. Ste. Genevieve Saturday, February 3rd at 5:30 P.M. at Kingston High School and Kingston will play against West County at 8:30 P.M. at Kingston.

The Valley of Caledonia Boys Varsity faced the Ste. Genevieve Dragons and had more than they could handle, dropping the game 60-16. The Vikings move into the consolation bracket and will face Arcadia Valley on Wed., Feb. 7th at 7 p.m. at MAC.

The Kingston Cougar Boys Varsity was set against the West County Bulldogs. The Bulldogs stretched their lead as the game headed to the final buzzer, 70-47. The Kingston Cougars will take on the Bismarck Indians in the consolation bracket on Wed., Feb. 7th at 8:30 p.m. The West County Bulldogs advance to take on the Farmington Knights on Tues., Feb. 6th at 8:30 p.m.
