‘Taste of Summer’ Blackberry Festival Saturday, July 23rd at Caledonia Park

The Village of Caledonia has set the date and made the plans for the Blackberry Festival at the Village Park in the center of town.

The Village is inviting everyone to enjoy the Summer event on Saturday, July 23rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is a large variety of events and activities during the day and something for any age.

There will be a big variety of food with food and speciality trucks in the Village Park. Carnival games, bounce houses, pony rides and more for the youngsters throughout the day will be available.

A Farmers Market will be set up with fresh offerings and a big variety for visitors to enjoy and take home.

There is music planned throughout the day with local favorite ‘Medallion’ playing from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Village Park, at the pavilion.

A wine and beer garden will be offered for those wanting to sample some local tastes and treats for visitors over 21.

Hope Church is holding a barbecue in the Village Barn throughout the afternoon and will feature some fresh barbecue and tasty treats.

There are over 35 vendors set to participate and show of their wares for the public’s purchase and enjoyment.

Free shuttle rides will be offered from both ends of the Village to the Park on Webster Road in the middle of the community. Everyone’s invited to enjoy the historic Village of Caledonia as they celebrate a Taste of Summer.
