Jeremy Roy Berry

Jeremy Roy Berry of Potosi was born on May 3, 1997, in Farmington, a son to Steven and Windy (Barnett) Berry. Jeremy passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, having reached the age of twenty-five years, two months, and twenty-three days.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his parents, Steven and Windy Berry; siblings, Amber King, Kristin Berry, Corrina Berry, Elizabeth Walter; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Blake; paternal grandfather, Cecil Berry; great grandmother, Virgaline Johnson; nieces and nephews, Erin, Bradin, Peyton, Seth, Legyon, Brice, Natalee, Hayden, Aunalee, Nirvana, Calum, and Makenna. Jeremy is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

In addition to his great grandparents, Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde Barnett and Louida Strecker; cousin, Dennis “Den Man” McNeary, and many other dear relatives.

Jeremy enjoyed wrestling. He was captain of the wrestling team at Potosi High. He loved kids, his family, and always made sure that his family was okay, especially the children. He always protected them. He loved Dodge Mopar cars, going to the gym, working out, and listening to music.

Visitation for Jeremy was Saturday, July 30th from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service immediately followed at 2:30 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Herod Cemetery in Desloge.
