At Courthouse . . . Veterans Pearl Harbor Ceremony MONDAY, Dec. 7th, 2020

December 7, 1941 the Empire of Japan made a sneak attack on the United States Naval Base of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, killing nearly 4,000 American Service Personnel.

We must never forget the Americans who gave their lives that day. Cordia-Humphrey American Legion Post 265, Potosi, in conjunction with Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6996, Potosi, will hold a ceremony in Honor of those who lost their lives that day.

The Pearl Harbor ceremony will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 7th on the Washington County Courthouse lawn.

“We ask that all veterans attend and would like to especially offer an invitation to the public to attend this solemn occasion,” said Richard Koch, Cordia-Humphrey American Legion Post 265 and Jeff Higginbotham, Commander, Washington County Memorial VFW Post 6996.
