Barbara Halbert

Barbara Louis Halbert of Potosi was born on February 8, 1941 in St. Louis, a daughter to the late William and Minnie (Blair) Mincher. Barbara passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, having reached the age of eighty years, eight months, and twenty-two days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert “Bob” Halbert; son, Gary (Amy) Halbert; siblings, Bernadine Acreman, Harold (Vivian) Halbert of Potosi, Milford (Imogene) Halbert of Caledonia, Billy (Caroline) Halbert, and Virginia (Jack) Montgomery. Barbara is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Mincher; father and mother-in-law, Howard “Buck” and Rosalie Halbert; and brother-in-law, James Halbert.

A visitation was held on Thursday, November 4th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home.

A funeral service immediately followed the visitation at 1 P.M. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating. Interment was held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
