THE COLONEL COMING BACK TO POTOSI

Construction on the Kentucky Fried Chicken building has been progressing quickly with good weather giving the crews an opportunity to work in to Fall. The building is going in at the old site of the County Auto Parts store on High Street - just West of the ‘East End Market’. There are a lot of names for places and what is remembered probably depends on your age. The ‘Dos’ location was the former Kentucky Fried Chicken spot. And, the East End Market reference can go back to Swift Bottling Company or even more currently, Chapman Coleman’s former store.
