Mary (Gibson) Boyer

Mary (Gibson) Boyer of Old Mines was born September 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Virgil and Maudie (Ramsey) Gibson. Mary went to her heavenly home on December 1, 2021 having reached the age of 72 years, 2 months and 25 days.
On October 3, 1980, Mary was united in marriage to Robert Boyer and they shared 41 years of life and memories together.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Robert Boyer; children, Tammy and Ryan Richards, Laura and Sam Johnson and Missy and Jared Crippen; grandchildren Tyler Crossen, Sierra Crossen, Lexi Crossen, Adria Crossen, Brad Johnson, Eric Johnson, Catie Johnson, Grace Johnson, Sammy Johnson, Katherine Boyer, Michael Crippen, and a great grandson, Tyson Carter; a brother, Herb Gibson, sisters- in-law, Nancy, Bonnie and Marsha.
In addition to Mary’s parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Clifton Gibson, Ronald Gibson, Jim Gibson, and Jesse Gibson and by her only sister Ruby Gibson.
Mary loved her community and was active with the K.C. Hall in Old Mines. She loved going to antique stores and looking for treasures, in addition to playing cards and gambling with friends. She loved her family with all her heart and she loved to spoil her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her dearly.
Visitation for Mary was held Sunday, December 5th from 4-8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 6th at 10 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Fr. Tony Dattilo officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery in Old Mines. Serving as pallbearers were Jared Crippen, Sam Johnson, Brad Johnson, Eric Johnson, Shawn Murphy and Bryan Gibson.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
