Tamara Sue (TK) Silvey

Tamara Sue (TK) Silvey, age 55, was born in Potosi on December 17, 1965 and peacefully past from this life at Saint Francis Medical Center on Friday, December 10th, 2021. She was the daughter of Sandra Mercer and Wayne Silvey.

She shared her life with Laura Pridemore, a long time companion of over 20 years.

Tamara’s survivors include companion Laura Pridemore of Cape Girardeau; step mother Sharon Silvey of Potosi; two sons, Amos Pridemore (Melinda) of Cape Girardeau, Michael Pridemore (Lara) of Malden; two brothers, Chris Wheeler (Bridgett) of Cape Girardeau, Jeff Melton of Potosi; sister, Joy Skiles (John) of Mineral Point; grandchildren, Payton and Gabriel Pridemore of Malden; nieces & nephews, Austin, Derek & Colton Wheeler of Cape Girardeau, Mary Ellen (Doug) Lawson of Mineral Point, Mike Skiles of Mineral Point, Ashley (Cody) James of Wright City, Joshua Melton of Farmington, Jackson Melton of Potosi and several great nieces & nephews.

Tamara is proceeded in death by her father Wayne Silvey, mother Sandra Donley, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

She spent most of her life in Cape Girardeau area. She worked in real estate for many years and in many of the family businesses.

She was a long time member of the Cape Girardeau Eagles where she volunteered and contributed towards many charities and fundraisers. She was a member of the APA Pool League and a HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fan. Her most favorite things in life was boating and spending time with her grandchildren.

Tammy was kind and had a huge heart that she shared with so many people. She was a truly loyal friend and loved by so many.
A memorial with dinner & Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 P.M on Saturday, Dec. 18th at the Cape Girardeau Eagles at 321 N. Spring Street.
