PEARL HARBOR REMEMBERED

City of Potosi Mayor Joe Blount hosted the annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Veterans at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday, Dec. 7th, 2021. The day marked the eightieth anniversary of the attack on Pearl in Hawaii. The message was to always remember – the dedication, the struggle, the challenge – that the men and women of that era faced and overcame. The day was cold with a stiff wind that reminded everyone of the importance of the somber day.
