Spring Election Filings Began Tuesday, December 7th
The Washington County Election Authority has announced the Annual Spring Election for Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
Filing for the Spring Election in April is from Tuesday, Dec. 7th thru Tuesday, Dec. 28th, 2021.
The Spring Election hosts a large number of races for a variety of boards and positions.
The County Hospital Board has one seat open for a 5 year term and the vote is ‘county-wide’.
The Washington County 911 Board has two district seats and the chairman position open with 4 year terms.
The County Ambulance District has seats open in District 1 and District 4 with 3 year terms.
The City of Potosi, City of Irondale, the Village of Caledonia and the Village of Mineral Point all have board elections.
The City of Irondale will elect two aldermen and and unexpired mayor’s position.
The Village of Caledonia will elect two trustees.
The Mineral Point board has four seats to fill.
The City of Potosi will elect two aldermen for the board.
Fire protection districts have elections with Bismarck, Caledonia, Irondale, Quad, and Sullivan all having board seats open.
School districts have board elections in April. The schools have two seats open with Kingston K-14 having two seats and an unexpired term. The schools with two board openings include Bismarck, Crawford County, Potosi, Richwoods, Sullivan and West County.
County water districts also have Spring Elections with Belgrade Water District, Holiday Shores, and Springtown Water District all having board seats open.
