Jonathon Chad Koob

Jonathon Chad Koob, also known to family and friends as “Jonny Boy Chad”, of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born on January 29, 1994, a son to Roger & Carol King. Jonny Boy passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, having reached the age of twenty-seven years, ten months, and twenty-nine days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his parents, Roger & Carol King; Fiancé, Brookelynn Steele; children: Landon, Elijah, and Waelyn Koob; sister, Victoria Jennings (husband, Tim Presti); best friends, Michael Shivers and Gus Pashia; Potosi Fire District; and a host of nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jonny Boy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rose and Carlo Torimino; uncle and godfather, Christ Torimino.

A Visitation was held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation continued Monday, January 3, 2022, from 9am-11am.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 11 am with Jeff Lloyd officiating. Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Potosi, MO.
