Margaret Helen (Coleman) Bowen

Margaret Helen (Coleman) Bowen of Mineral Point, Missouri was born September 29, 1923 at the family homestead in Mineral Point, a daughter to the late John J. Coleman and Mary Jane (Bone) Coleman. Margaret went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, December 24, 2021 having reached the age of 98 years, 2 months and 25 days.

On January 18, 1941 Margaret was united in marriage to Frank Bowen and they were blessed with 62 years of love and memories together. Frank preceded her in death on November 18, 2003.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her two daughters: Mary Ann Huff (husband, Ron) and Nancy Pettus (husband, Norman); sisters: Rosemary Jarvis and Alice Jarvis (husband, C.D.); grandchildren: Scott Huff (wife, Misty), Keith Peirce (wife, Kristi), and Chad Pettus (wife, Dawn); granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Huff; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Margaret also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her grandson, David Huff; son-in-law, Lloyd Peirce; brothers, Gerard Coleman, Sam Coleman, Lucian Coleman, Kenneth Coleman and Willis Coleman and sister, Pearl Trokey.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 5-8pm at DeClue Funeral Home.  Visitation continued on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 9-11 am.

A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11 am, officiated by Pastor Paul Davis.  Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
