Belinda Eileen McLeod, known by friends and family as “Linda”, of Caledonia was Born September 18, 1946 in Frankclay, a daughter to the late, Harold and Beulah Edna (Welch) Horton. Linda departed this life Monday, January 24, 2022 having reached the age of 75 years, 4 months and 6 days.
Linda is survived by her son, Carl McLeod of Caledonia, Kenny “Cotton” McLeod of Irondale, Nick McLeod of Irondale, Charles “Jason” McLeod of Irondale; sister, Karen Bowling and husband Bill of Irondale, Joyce O’Neail and husband Gail of Irondale; sister-in-law, Diane Horton of Irondale; 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara (Emmett) White, Brenda (Glen) McLeod; brothers, Harold “Dale” Horton and Kenneth (Deanna) Horton.
Linda’s greatest pleasure in life was being a mother and grandmother. Her family was her rock and she always made sure they were taken care of. She loved to socialize and visit with family and friends. She had a heart of gold and always saw the best in people. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Visitation for Linda was held Sunday, January 30th from 3 to 6 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 30th at 6 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Davis officiating.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
