Carol Eckhoff

Carol Ann Eckhoff of Leadwood was born May 24, 1949 in Blackwell, a daughter to the late Charles “Bud” Wilkerson and Linda (Missey) Wilkerson. Carol departed this life Wednesday, February 23, 2022 having reached the age of 72 years, 8 months and 30 days.
On May 18, 1968, Carol was united in marriage to the late Joseph Eckhoff, Sr. and together they shared 53 years and many loving memories. Joseph preceded Carol in death on November 2, 2021.
Carol is survived by her son, Joseph “J.D.” Eckhoff, Jr. of Bonne Terre; daughter, Jodi Blair of Belgrade; brother, Kenneth Wilkerson of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Maurice, Derrick, Desirea, Jayla, Daja and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Wayne Wilkerson.
Carol loved being a mom more than anything in the world. She always made sure her children had what they needed and she loved them unconditionally. Her home was well kept and she often expressed her love to those around her. Her loving warmth and kindness will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Carol was held Monday, February 28th from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Kendall Hughes officiating.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
