Human Remains Identified As Nelson - Missing Since 2012

Earlier in the week, March 8th, 2022, Sheriff Zach Jacobsen released information about human remains being found by an individual in Northern Washington County. On Thursday, Sheriff Jacobsen and Coroner Hatfield released information identifying the remains as Norvel Robert Nelson III. Nelson had been missing since January 2012. He had reported missing under suspicious circumstances at that time. The Washington County, Mo. Sheriff's Department continues to work on the case at this time.
