Jimmy Dale Todd

Jimmy Dale Todd of Imperial was born on November 15, 1933 in Frankclay, to the union of Frank and Lily (Doty) Todd. He left from this life, surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his home at the age of 88.
Jimmy was united in marriage to Naomi Doris Kirby on March 15, 1952 in Piggett, Arkansas. To this union ten children were born, Roger, Donnie, Lennie, Rick, Robin, Kathy, Jennifer, Anna, Tim and John Paul.
Jimmy “Hillbilly Jim” retired as a train carman for Alton and Southern Railway. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go crappie fishing with his sons and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and taught them “To always have faith in the good Lord above”.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lily (Doty) Todd; wife Naomi Doris Todd; two sons Donnie and John Paul Todd; two brothers Dusty Todd and Bob Doty; two sisters Freda Maxwell and JoAnn Scott; two sons-in-law; Carl Ingenbohs and John Lane .
Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his eight children, Roger and wife Sue Todd of St. Louis, Lennie and wife Nancy Todd of St. Louis, Ricky Todd of Imperial, Robin Todd of St. Louis, Anna Todd of Park Hills, Timothy and wife Leslie Todd of St. Louis, Kathy Ingenbohs of St. Louis, Jennifer and husband John Hilliard of Arnold; four sisters, Marilyn Saddler of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ruthie Dudley of Potosi, Judy Todd of Farmington, Sue and husband Richard Battreal of Irondale; a brother Bill and wife Barbara Todd of Imperial; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 15th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, St. Louis.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 15th at 11 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home.
A graveside service was held 2 p.m. at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
