SOLID WASTE DISTRICT PICKED UP

Enhancements offers recycling on a daily basis and the Ozark Solid Waste Management District offered a special pickup on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at the Enhancements lot in Potosi. Several appliances, including dishwashers, dryers, washers and freezers were dropped off along with computers, tires and other electronic items. The O.S.W.M.D. is operated through the M.R.P.C. and promotes reuse and recycling when available to help the environment. Locally, Enhancements has containers for plastic, paper and cardboard in front of their facility as well as a trailer next to the Towne Square in ‘Downtown Potosi’. The recyclable material helps provide jobs for the Enhancements sheltered workshop that is located in the middle of Potosi in the old Ward’s Food Mart building, just off Frizzell Street and Purcell Drive.
