Thomas “Tommy” Laurence Perry of Potosi was born March 16, 2001 in St. Louis, a son to Misty Wall and Larence DeShawn Perry. Tommy departed this life Thursday, March 17, 2022 having reached the age of 21 years and 1 day.
Tommy is survived by his aunt; Sharon Sansoucie of Cadet; sister, Chloey Perry; special cousins Michael, Madeline, Macy, Kayla, Kristie, Rachel and a host of other relatives and special friends who loved him dearly.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Timothy Wall and Shirley Wall-Carter and great grandparents, Tom and Shirley Carter.
Tommy never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He was a great athlete and loved playing football and baseball with his friends. His favorite football team was the Kansas City Chiefs. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and help anyone in need, never asking for anything in return. He never let anyone stand in his way and always stood up for his friends and family. He had a smile and a personality that could light up a room. His presence brought immediate comfort to those around him. He was a genuine friend to everyone he met. The memories he gave during his life will last forever and he will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched.
Visitation for Tommy was held Tuesday, March 22nd from 4 to 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Visitation resumed Wednesday, March 23rd from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 23rd at 10 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines with Fr. Tony Dattilo officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Michael Skiles, Devin Moore, James Belfield, Christopher Whitter, Anant Singh, Josh Bradbrook, J.T. Huck, Nathan Warren, Anthony Smith, and Donald Smith.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
