Shirley Buckingham

Shirley Joyce (May) Buckingham of Bonne Terre was born December 2, 1934 in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter to the late Bert May and Margeret (Brown) May. Shirley departed this life Wednesday, April 6, 2022 having reached the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 4 days.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Dennis Buckingham and wife Linda, David Buckingham and wife Marcia; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Buckingham; sisters, Gloria Blackwell, Mildred Cochran; brothers, Donald May and Terry May.
Shirley was blessed with many artistic abilities. She enjoyed painting, creating ceramic pieces, and playing music with her family. She loved to play guitar and sing. She kept a beautiful flower garden that was admired by everyone. Above everything else she loved her family with all her heart. Her memory will be treasured by all who loved her.
Visitation for Shirley was held Monday, April 11 from 10AM-1PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral Services were held Monday April 11 at 1PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Pastor Nathan Buckingham officiating.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
