Cecil “Ray” Biggerstaff,

Cecil “Ray” Biggerstaff, 71 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday evening at his residence.

Ray’s celebration of life will be 11:00 am Monday April 18th at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The graveside committal with military honors will be 12:00 PM Wednesday April 20, 2022 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Ray honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and retired after having reached the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant.

Ray is survived by his loving wife Sharon R. Biggerstaff of the home; sons Michael Morris of Jacksonville and Gary Morris of Jacksonville; sister Marvel Chazelle of Potosi, MO; and brothers Murle Biggerstaff of St. Charles, MO, Robert Biggerstaff of St. Louis, MO, and William Biggerstaff of Park Hill, MO; sister-in-laws, Patricia Biggerstaff, Rosita Biggerstaff, and Rosalea Biggerstaff.
