NEW D.H.S.S. DIRECTOR VISITED W.C.H.D.

WASHINGTON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT hosted a visit from the New Missouri Director of the Department of Health and Senior Services, Paula F. Nickelson, M.Ed., C.H.E.P.; on Thursday, April 7th, 2022. The Ladies had a great visit as they stopped in on Purcell Drive for a visit. Director Nickelson said this was just her second visit to a County Health Department since her appointment and she was happy to be able to visit ‘in person’. Douglas explained the many programs that W.C.H.D. are involved in and utilize locally as well a brief history of the Department. The Staff had arranged a room full of displays from the history as well as the programs and services provided. The Staff also presented the visiting ladies with a large gift basket that featured a variety of items from Washington County. They all expressed their thanks and how glad they were to be at W.C.H.D.
