DOWNTOWN HOME MARKET OPEN

The shop at 124 East High has been remodeled and re-purposed as a new produce and home store by Cody & Janel Reeves and Andy & Brittney Aubuchon. The store features fresh produce, seasonings, assorted recipe items as well as prepared salads, fruit trays and more. The shop is open seven days a week and opens at 8 a.m. each morning. Closing times are planned for 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, 5 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday (at this time). The girls said they will see how patronage goes and may adjust hours accordingly. They also said they will be working on changing up the shop in small ways so that a regular visit will find different items on the shelves and in the coolers. As warm weather approaches, one offering will be side items for family barbecues and outings, such as baked beans, potato salad and usual picnic fare. Baked goods are also part of the stock and will be on a varied basis, going with the time of year and the desire of the patrons. The store is a welcome addition to the ‘Downtown’ area.
