Jerry Andrew Link Sr.

Jerry Andrew Link Sr. of Potosi passed away Thursday April 21, 2022 at his home. He was 64 years, 4 months and 27 days old. He was born December 25, 1957 in Potosi to the late Herbert Howard Link (2007) and Virginia Frances Ramsey (Link).

In addition to his father, Jerry was proceeded in death by his brother, Sgt. James (Jimmy) Link (1976). Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife, Shelia Link; mother, Virginia Link and partner Robert Vandergriff; his three children, Jerry Andrew (Andy) Link Jr. of Potosi, Terra and husband Robert Gatewood of Pevely and Crystal Link of Perryville; four grandchildren, Breann, Jesse, Layla and Rylan Gatewood; three sisters, Ruthie and husband Bill Tucker of Farmington, Mary Cook of Potosi and Becky Myers and partner, Terry Stoops of Frankclay; a brother, Joe Link and partner Reggie Dampier of St. Louis. His best friends, Andy and Joyce Revelle and other relatives and friends.

Jerry loved cars, camping, fishing and hunting. He was a hard worker that enjoyed being outdoors. He was a truck driver for forty-six years. He was a good friend that would help whenever needed. He liked joking around and would give people nicknames. He called his wife,” Myrtle or George”, his grandson Jesse he called “jug head” and his granddaughter, Layla he called “blondie” among others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Jerry was held Saturday, April 23rd from 3 to 7 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services were held at 7 P.M. with Pastor Blaine Graham officiating.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
