Bruce Anthony “Cody” Crump

Bruce Anthony “Cody” Crump of Mineral Point was born on December 16, 1991, in Creve Coeur, a son of Bruce and Judy (Jackson) Crump. Cody passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, having reached the age of thirty years, three months, and twenty-nine days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his parents, Bruce and Judy Crump; son, Hunter Jackson Crump; grandmother, Sandy Vaul; sister, Natasha Crump; niece and nephew, Abby Griffin and Jake Griffin; aunts and uncles, Mikey and Danielle Crump, Crystal Crump, Tammy and Dennis Auten, Chelsea and Jerry Bingham, Shawn and Tina Crump, Christopher Crump, Yvonne and Raymond Gray, and Sue Jackson; mother of his son, Ashley Smith; and many cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earnest and Berniece Jackson, Mike Crump, and Jerry Vaul; dear friend, Matt Cannon; and many other dear relatives.

Cody was one that was good with computers, phones, and electronics in general. Everybody brought their phones to him to fix! Cody’s son, Hunter, was his life, and enjoyed playing video games with him. He was a good dad to him! He also loved his family very much and will be missed by all.

Visitation for Cody was Monday, April 18th from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation continued Tuesday, April 19th from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, April 19th at 11 a.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Huff Cemetery in Mineral Point.
