Beulah Jean Lefler

Beulah Jean Lefler of Ste. Genevieve, formerly of Potosi, was born on October 7, 1929 at Belgrade, a daughter to Fred Belfield and Ida (Sheppard) Belfield. Beulah went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 22 days.

On June 26, 1948, Beulah was united in marriage to Freeman Lefler and they shared nearly 31 years together.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her daughter, Phyllis Kennedy (husband, Charlie); dear sister, Jewel Brown; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lefler and Lurie Belfield. Beulah also leaves behind 29 Lefler and Belfield combined nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her very much.

In addition to her father mother, Beulah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Freeman Lefler on June 8, 1979; four brothers, Preston, Howard, Talmadge and Robert Belfield; five sisters, Esther Crump, Irene Callahan, Zelda Stafford, Alberta Jinkerson and Goldie Belfield.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 2nd from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service immediately followed beginning at 2 P.M.

Interment and final prayers was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served the family of Mrs. Beulah Lefler.
