ST. JOACHIM ROBOTICS
May 06, 2022

On Saturday, April 30, the St. Joachim Robotics team competed at the annual Clavius Project Robotics Jamboree at St. Louis University Highschool in St. Louis. The students have spent the year learning coding and programming EV-3 Mindstorm robots to complete various challenges using prescribed speeds and turns, the robotic arms, and ultrasonic, touch, and color sensors. The students were judged on their execution and precision as their robots performed each challenge for the judges. The St. Joachim students earned 5/5 on each challenge attempted, and the two group projects each scored 14/15 points. Their teacher and robotics coach, Mrs. Pam Boyer, said that she is very proud of the students and their performance.
