Dewormer, Flea Control Products (Front-line), Heart-worm Prevention (Tri-Heart/Interceptor) and Vitamins are also available.
Puppies should start their vaccinations at 6 weeks of age and have one every three weeks until 16 weeks of age. Then at 16 weeks have a Rabies Vaccination.
Vaccine to protect your pet from Parvovirus will be available at all the Rabies Clinics. Parvovirus is a life threatening disease to puppies and dogs that are not vaccinated. Without immunizations, an afflicted animal's intestinal tract is attacked by the virus resulting in symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and collapse. Prompt veterinary care is essential to recovery, but still there is a great likelihood of death. Have your dog vaccinated. They rely on you!
It is being urged that pet owners have their pets vaccinated to protect against Rabies - a dreaded animal disease spread basically through bites to humans. The shot series for humans is said to be very painful.
