Cecil Alexius Schulte

Cecil Alexius Schulte of Potosi was born on July 16, 1939, in St Louis, a son of the late Stephen and Odelia (Parr) Schulte. Cecil passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, having reached the age of eighty-two years, ten months, and twenty-one days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children, Steven Schulte, Susan Hattemar (husband, Kenny), Ted Schulte (wife, Patty), John Schulte (wife, Karen), Paul Schulte, Carol Stork (husband, Greg), Cathy Wilkins (husband, Bob), Sam Schulte (wife, Carolina); grandchildren, Jake, Jessie, Kristen, Sarah, Lindsey, Alania, Ryann, Ciara, Kyle; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Schulte and Leona Bolzenius.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Betty Schulte; siblings, infant baby boy Schulte, Dee Dee Schulte, Steve Schulte (wife, Jerry), and Quentin Schulte; sister-in-law, Wilma Schulte.

Visitation was Saturday, June 11th from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 12 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Carl Wilson. Internment followed at the Schulte Family Cemetery in Potosi.
