William Ray "Bill" Farris

William Ray "Bill" Farris of Cadet was born on September 11, 1962 a son to George Farris and Audrey Pearl McAntire. Bill departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence having reached the age of 59 years, 9 months and 2 days. Bill was an outdoorsman. He loved being outside and the beauty of nature. Bill found joy in arrowhead hunting, deer hunting, and fishing.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his dad and step mom, Bob and Carolyn Mayfield; three siblings, Randy Mayfield (wife, Bridgett), Kelly Sparks (husband, Ken), and Danny Mayfield; nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Bill was preceded in death by his father George Farris and mother, Audrey (McAntire) Mayfield.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 16th from 10:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 1 P.M. Elder Mike Jarvis officiated Bill's service. Interment followed at Horine Cemetery, Richwoods.
