Christina Harmon

Christina Alberta (Benson) Harmon of Potosi was born October 3, 1970 in Ironton, a daughter to Erma J. (Benson) Butery and the late Ralph Charles Butery. Christina departed this life Wednesday, October 28, 2020 having reached the age of 50 years and 25 days.

On April 1, 1989, Christina was united in marriage to Gary Harmon and they were blessed with two children and thirty wonderful years together.

Christina is survived by her loving husband, Gary; son, Christopher Harmon of Potosi; daughter, Sarah Harmon of Potosi; grandchildren, Karlee, Casidy, Jase; mother-in-law, Dorothy Harmon; brother-in-law, Brian (Gwen) Harmon and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her father, Ralph, Christina was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Gary Harmon.

Christina was kind and caring, always having a smile on her face. She loved bingo and had a gift for sewing, making beautiful quilts for her friends and family. She loved to be outside and enjoy the gifts of Mother Nature such as camping and fishing. Her family is what brought her the most joy throughout her life and she treasured every moment they spent together. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation for Christina was held Saturday, October 31st from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 31st at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Compton officiating.
Burial and final prayers took place at High Point Cemetery in Potosi with Pastor Paul Dunn concluding the service. Serving as pallbearers were Joe “Buddy” Benson, Joe Benson, Lewis Gill, Shelley Pashea, Jimmy Morgan, Chris Harmon and Stephen Benson.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
