WASHINGTON CO. LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM OCEANS OF POSSIBILITIES

June 30, 2022

The Summer Reading Program is underway at the Washington County Library.

On Thursday, June 16th we had Story Hour with Miss Dorothy and the boys and girls were given treats.
On Friday, June 17th the boys and girls watched the movie “Luca”. They were served Popcorn, Goldfish, Teddy Grahams, raisins and water donated by LaRue. We had a great turnout and the boys and girls loved the movie.

On Thursday, June 23rd we had Story Hour with Miss Dorothy and the boys and girls were given Under the Sea treats. Mrs. Vicky Portell was here also to read the book “What If” that she had written.

On Friday, June 24th, ‘Mad Science’ was here and he was a big hit with the boys and girls. He did experiments that had to do with the oceans and kept the group entertained.

We’ve had such a great turnout for the Summer Reading Program this year. Everyone here at the library is so excited to see that the boys and girls are reading so much.

-Washington County Library Staff;
