Mary Colleen (nee Dean) Jinkerson

Mary Colleen (nee Dean) Jinkerson, of Wildwood went to her heavenly home on June 28th, passing away from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She was 58 years old.
Mary was a beautiful, faithful woman who loved the Lord and her family. She had a quick wit and a beautiful smile and never complained about her ailments, relying heavily on her faith. Mary was born on September 7, 1963, in St. Louis to Dick and Sally Dean. Mary grew up with six siblings, spending weekends at her family's farm and playing sports. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School, where she played basketball and volleyball. She attended Meramec Community College, where she played on the women's basketball team and later attended Southwest Missouri State University. Mary started work with the family business, The Dean Team Automotive Group, while still a teenager and worked at various positions including dealer principal until MS disabled her in 2010. She never quit loving the Dean Team and continued to help friends with their car purchases.
Mary was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Marvin Jinkerson, her mother-in-law Maxine Spry Jinkerson and brother-in-law Steve Pigg.
She is survived by her husband David Marvin Jinkerson, sons Sean-Patrick Jinkerson and Richie Jinkerson, her parents Sally and Dick Dean, siblings Barbara (Scott) Sorel, Jim Dean (Kirk Behymer), Patrick (Michelle) Dean, Molly (Tim) Newberry, Bill (Erin) Dean and Richard Dean, in-laws Pamela Pigg, Richard and Melanie Goldstein and Timothy and Kimberly Jinkerson. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Elsie Wilkinson and step father-in-law Dewayne Wilkinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at the Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin on Tuesday, July 5th, from 4 to 8 P.M. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi, Ellisville on Wednesday, July 6th at 10 A.M. Interment followed Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Grover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's honor to the Gateway MS Society or Sunnyhill, Inc., a non-profit company that provides residential opportunities for special needs children and adults.
