Cleatis Lee Snowdell

Cleatis Lee Snowdell of Potosi went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 7 days. Cleatis was born on February 22, 1937 in Cadet, a son to the late James Mason Snowdell and Alice Jane (Ratty) Snowdell.

Those left behind to treasure his memory include his two daughters, Lydia Schlegl (husband, Jon) and Tina Williams (husband, Mike); four grandchildren, Cory Dicus (wife, Sarah), Michelle Williams, Michael Williams, Morgan O’Neal (husband, Kelly); five great grandchildren: Braden, Baylie, Nolan, Clark and Kobe; two sisters, Connie Lawson and Betty Turner; and sister-in-law, Jan Snowdell. Cleatis is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his father and mother, Cleatis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Snowdell on May 26, 2004; five siblings, Bobby Ray Snowdell, Terry Lynn Snowdell, Gladine Hebblithwait, James Snowdell and Rita Bowles; as well as many other dear family members.

A time of visitation was held on Friday, July 1st from 5 to 8 P.M. at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Saturday, July 2nd from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

A funeral service was held Saturday, July 2nd at 1 P.M. in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bob Adams officiating. Interment followed in the Hopewell Cemetery.
