The Washington County Producers Association is planning a ‘first ever’ Cattlemen’s Ball at the Twin Eagle Lake Barn on Saturday, Aug. 20th, 2022. The evening is planned to begin at 5 p.m. with staggered dining service - 5 p.m; 5:30 p.m. & 6 p.m. Everyone enjoys a fresh off the grill ribeye steak, thus the plan for staggered dining.

The evening will feature guest speaker Mike Kerby and live music by Meg and the Wheelers. For those local folks, they may know that Meg is the daughter of T-N-T band leader Tom Sampson.

The night promises to be a lot of fun and will support a new Washington County Producers scholarship for an Agriculture based student or students.

Tickets are $75 a person for the evening and a dining time will be arranged, on a first come, first serve basis by reservation and request.

The Twin Eagle Barn is located at Twin Eagle Lake (the West side) at 10254 Waters Edge Road, just outside off Potosi off Highway 185.

Dinner, then guest speaker, then Meg and Wheelers from 7 to 11 p.m. There will be a live auction and some drawings held as well during the evening.

Those interested in a reservation are asked to email Doug Short at aptushooknhornranch@gmail.com please.

This promises to be a fun and informative evening with an opportunity to celebrate ‘the end of horse fly season’!
