Sandra Vance

Sandra Kaye (Dane) Vance of Jackson, formerly of Potosi, was born December 7, 1946 in Bonne Terre, a daughter to the late Claude Williams Dane Jr. and Zelda Loraine (Wray) Dane. Sandra departed this life Friday, September 2, 2022 having reached the age of 75 years, 8 months and 26 days.
Sandra is survived by her daughters, Deborah Vance of Jackson, Kimberly Hamby of Potosi; sister, Tammy Kernan and husband Charles of Marble Hill; brothers, John Dane Sr. and wife Diane of Park Hills, Donald Dane and special friend Lisa of DeSoto, Pastor Ronald and and wife Pauline of Desloge, Steve Dane of Cedar Hill, Jerry Dane and wife Connie of DeSoto; sister-in-law, Linda Dane of Leadwood; grandchildren, Travis, Molly, Gregory, Brett; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Arnold Vance Jr; brother, Danny Dane and grandson, Justin Vance.
Sandra was raised with many friends and family in the Leadwood area. She was a graduate of Leadwood, known as the Purple Pups. She had a deep love for her family and loved keeping in touch with people on Facebook, sending funny videos and messages to everyone. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis and Leonard Skynyrd. She was their number one fan. Above everything in the world her family was her pride and joy and she loved them unconditionally. Her warmth and love will be greatly missed by those she loved.
Visitation for Sandra was held Wednesday, September 7th from 5 to 8 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 8th at 11 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Dane officiating. Burial and final prayers took place at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Dane, Doodle Dane, Travis Huffman, Jerry Dane, Amber Dane, David Vance and Michael Fulbright.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home, Potosi.
