Kenneth Glen Bratch

Kenneth Glen Bratch of Washington was born on August 11, 1943 in Essex, a son to Herbie Daniel and Gladys (Dillard) Bratch. Kenneth went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 2, 2022, having reached the age of 79 years and 22 days.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his loving wife, Bea Bratch; three children, Keith Bratch (wife, Linda), Myra Britton (husband, Ron), and Eric Bratch (wife, Anna); three step children, David Whitchurch, Sherrie Arnold (husband, Bob), and Dennis Whitchurch; 8 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Alpert and Leaetta Hulshof. Ken also leaves behind nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his father and mother, Ken was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Helen Bratch; step daughter, Kathy Frendendall; and two brothers-in-law, Bill Hulshof and Jerry Alpert.

A time of visitation was held on Thursday, September 8th at Faith Baptist Church of Washington from 5 to 8 P.M. Visitation resumed on Friday, September 9th from 10 to 11 A.M.

A funeral service was held Friday, September 9th at 11 A.M. at the Faith Baptist Church of Washington. Pastors Ken Blackwell and Brett Blair officiated Ken’s service. Interment and final prayers were held at First Baptist Church of Wildwood Cemetery. Honoring Ken by serving as pallbearers was Justin Dayton, Kory Bratch, Noah Bratch, Steve Cartwright, Bob Arnold, and Gene McGillis.
