Stanley Dwight Ferguson of Potosi was born on February 20, 1949 in Desloge, a son to Tony Sherman Ferguson and Goldie(Sedgwick) Ferguson. Stanley departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2022 having reached the age of 73.

On February 24, 1973, Stanley was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Nace and they shared 49 years together. Stanley enjoyed traveling to Branson and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was a big St. Louis Blues fan. Stanley served in the United States Army from March 5, 1969 to March 4, 1971. He will be greatly missed.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his wife, Patricia Ferguson; son, Chris Ferguson; daughter, Rebecca Totra and husband Kevin; two grandchildren, Isabella and Joseph Totra; two siblings, Sherman Lewis Ferguson; Leanna Marie Rigdon and husband Thomas. Stanley also leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his father and mother, Stanley was preceded in death by four siblings, Earnestine Ferguson, Francis Geneva Owens, Bonnie Jean Molitor, and Glenda Yvonne Park.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 12th at 11 A.M. held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis with Pastor James Uglum officiating. In addition, full military honors were presented by the United States Army.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
