Funeral Services For Mary Leah Boyer
Mary Leah (Zielinski) Boyer (nee) Nicholson, the daughter of the late William S. Nicholson and Mrs. Mae Jarvis, passed away on Friday, March 20, 1970, at the Washington County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Boyer was born at Potosi, Missouri, on March 1, 1922 and was 48 years, and 20 days of age at her death.
She is survived by one son, Donnie Zielinski of St. Louis; Her mother, Mrs. Mae Jarvis of Route 2, Potosi; Step-Father, David O. Jarvis of Route 2, Potosi; one brother Stanley Nicholson of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Halley of St. Louis; Mrs. Mabel (Cloid) Tinker of Potosi; Mrs. June (John) Boyer of Potosi; Mrs. Edith (Don) Mercer of Tennessee and a host of relatives and friends. Her father, William S. Nicholson and one sister, Mrs. Chloe Buxton, preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
Services were conducted from the Pleasant Hill Christian Church on Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Earl Hall officiating. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Don Sparks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
