Sharon Arndt

Sharon Mae (Maxwell) Arndt of Potosi was born February 2, 1946 in Cadet, a daughter to the late Alberta (Courtois) Maxwell and Leonard Kent Maxwell. Sharon departed this life Thursday, November 3, 2022 having reached the age of 76 years, 9 months and 1 day.
Those left to cherish the loving memories of Sharon include her daughter, Tonya and husband Joe Hinch, Jr. of Cadet, Sandra Drooger and partner Nathaniel Hamelback of Potosi, Cheryl Arndt of Potosi; son, Allen and wife Jill Arndt of Potosi; sister, Karen and husband Carl Gardner of Liberty; brother, Samuel and wife Marsha Maxwell of Madras, Oregon; sisters-in-law, Terry Maxwell of Potosi, Thelma Maxwell of Cadet; grandchildren, Halen, Steven, Dillion, Ethan, Nathan, Amanda, Stephanie, Chris, Jessy; great grandchildren, Saraphina, Kylie, Maddie, Brooklyn, Justin, Alexis, Kaleb; special friend, Brenda Freeland and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends who will miss her.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Arndt and brothers, Joe “Butch” Maxwell and Kenny Maxwell.
Sharon had a passion for music and loved singing, playing the organ, keyboard, and banjo. Her music captivated her friends and family and her voice was charged with emotion. She sang every song from her heart. She enjoyed fishing, camping, road riding, and seeing new places, and meeting new people. Her love and special memories will continue to live in the hearts of those she loved.
Visitation was held Monday, November 7th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 7th at 1 P.M.
Burial and final prayers took place at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Joe Hinch Jr., Nathanial Hamelback, Ethan Drooger, Nathan Drooger, Allen Maxwell, Shane Maxwell, Joe Hinch Jr. and Steven Hinch.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
