Hang A Prayer Service & Tree Lighting Welcomes Santa on Friday, Dec. 2nd

The Potosi Assembly of God Church is coordinating the ‘Hang A Prayer - Light Up The Square’ evening again this year on Friday, Dec. 2nd, 2022 at the Towne Square parking lot across from the County Courthouse. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with hanging ornaments on the community Christmas Tree & caroling and prayers at 6:30 p.m. for the season and the community.

Music will be part of the evening service with an invitation for public participation. Everyone is invited to join the festivities and celebrate the ‘Reason for the Season’ along with traditional Christmas carols and more in store for those in attendance.

Tree lighting at the Square is planned for approximately 7 p.m.

There will be a live nativity scene for everyone to enjoy during the celebration.

Santa has made plans to visit and will be making his appearance at approximately 6 p.m.

The shops around the community are planning to be open and Santa will be visiting later during his ‘Moonlight Madness’ evening with added shopping hours from.5 to 8 p.m.
