Wreaths Across America Ceremonies This Sat. Old Mines, New Masonic & Bates Creek Cemteries

La Brigade & The Old Mines Area Society will host a Wreaths Across America ceremony at 11 a.m. at the St. Joachim Cemetery, behind the Church.

Mine au Breton Historical Society will host a Wreaths Across America ceremony at 11 a.m. at the New Masonic Cemetery in Potosi. Volunteers are welcome with parking next to the football field.

Local Scouts will host a Wreaths Across America ceremony at Bates Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. Contact Claude Evans at 573-562-7036 for more info.

The Wreaths Across America program remembers Veterans during the holiday season and provides a fresh wreath for military graves, sponsored locally by donations.

Following the ceremony, volunteers are welcome to help lay wreaths at the cemeteries on designated Veteran graves.
