RED WING SHOE COMPANY SUPPORTS PLAYGROUND

The Red Wing Shoe Foundation has announced a $50,000 grant to the City of Potosi All Inclusive Playground that is under construction at the Potosi City Park on Highway P. The Potosi City Park project includes an all inclusive playground with a covered concrete base for accessibility as well as a new pavilion, splash pad and accessible restrooms adjacent to the site. Ms. Bust said, “We are so appreciative of the support we are getting from the community and our supporters. The Park Board and Playground Project Committee have a new, detailed hand out that offers naming opportunities for donors at most every level. We also have a ‘brick’ program that is going on now as well.” For more information about the project, interested supporters may contact the Washington County Community Partnership, located on Jefferson Street, and to make a donation.
