Steven Jay Gibson

Steven Jay Gibson of Leadwood,was born on April 13, 1966 in Potosi, a son of the late Alvin Alfred and Ruby May (King) Gibson. Steve passed away on December 26, 2022, having reached the age of 56.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving companion, Buffy Graves; children, Benjamin Helton, Ethan Harris; grandchildren, Chloe Snell, Raylan Helton, Harmony Vodicka, Shyila Vodicka, BreAnna Harris, and Ender Deming; siblings, Ray Gibson (wife, Chris), Allen Gibson (wife, Mary), and Kevin Gibson (wife, Stefania). Steve also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ruby Gibson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation resumed on Friday, December 30th from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 30th at 11 a,.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi.
