Barbara (Sullivan) Boyster

Barbara (Sullivan) Boyster, of Mineral Point passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born on Wednesday, October 4, 1942. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry L. Sullivan; parents, James H. and Freda (Stegall) Weir; son, James Skaggs; grandson, Gene Skaggs; two brothers, George and Walter Weir; two sisters, Alberta Huff and Rose Embry.

Barbara enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and planting flowers.  She also liked to go to yard sales, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Stacy Aubuchon; three grandchildren, David (Kayla) Aubuchon, Tabitha (Dylan) Martin and Tristin Skaggs; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey Edgar, Cleo Sue Martin, Elizabeth McMahan, Emmalee McMahan, Annalyn McMahan, Katelyn Webb, Ethan Aubuchon and Gunner Skaggs; three brothers, James Weir, Howard Weir and John (Vickie) Weir; five sisters, Bonnie (Gordon) Morris, Carol (Harry) Johnson, Alice Weir and friend Lana, Nina (Clarence) Tate and Fran McBride.  Barbara will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation was held Tuesday, January 10th from 10 A.M. until the service time at 11 A.M. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating. Interment followed at Weir Family Cemetery in Mineral Point.
